Bindery Manager

GEORGE ALVAREZ George began in the print industry as a bindery operator in 1979. He started working as a general helper, shop maintenance and machine assistant. Through the years he began training on every piece of equipment he could learn. He’s been trained to run a Perfect Binder, Cutter, Saddle Stitcher, and Paper folder. He has also been trained on all equipment in a modern print shop bindery department.

By 1985, George became production manager for the first time at a large print shop in southern California. After over 20 years at that position, he relocated to Las Vegas, and begin his career with A&B Printing in June of 2012. He is currently in charge of the entire bindery department and all that it entails.
